Description

While traveling the Last Dollar Road above Telluride I came across this flock of sheep. Fortunately, I met the shepherd of the flock and he said there were 1000 sheep in the flock-and not all show in the picture. The shepherd had two herding dogs and one large sheep dog that stayed with the flock. On this gorgeous autumn day it was fascinating to watch the shepherd and his dogs move the sheep across the field. (The shepherd and his dogs are not in this particular image - look for it in my image library)
