Sometimes the interesting things in a botanical garden aren't the plants, but the architecture around the plants. This inside outside (or is it outside inside?) view of the Mediterranean gardens building at the Albuquerque Botanic Garden demonstrates this. A large glass wall with a grid of metal frames reflects a clear blue sky with scattered clouds. The geometric patterns of the structure create an intricate and modern architectural design.
