The 14th century Burg Maus, or the Castle Maus, lies on the east side of the Rhine River in Germany. And yes, as it sounds, this translates to the Mouse Castle.The nearby village is Wellmich, in Rihineland-Palatinate. The castle sits atop a hill covered in autumn colors with blue skies in the background. The castle dates from 1353.
