This is the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi, commonly known as Saint Francis Cathedral, in downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico, built under the Archbishop Lamy during the late 1800's. The day was beautiful and the perspective of the cathedral with the dancing statue of St. Francis imparts a sense of joy. A branch of flowers and newly formed leaves on the tree hints of springtime and renewal.
