Description
These pelicans were flying along the California coast, just outside Pacific Grove (near Monterey Bay). I love the way they stand out against the blue sky, each bird in a different wingstroke. Waves crash on off shore rocks. Birds perch in colonies upon the rocks. The Pacific coast is a wonderful place to visit.
