Description
This glacial fed river is the Bulkley at Moricetown, British Columbia. At the upstream curve is a small rock at the river's edge known as "Idiot Rock" because the path leading to the rock is so treacherous. The Bulkley River is well known for its excellent steelhead and salmon fishing. Downstream, First Nation members have netted fish for hundreds of years, and to this day, it is fascinating to watch members as they continue the traditional fishing practice.
