After driving past the Cadillac Ranch outside of Amarillo, Texas numerous times, I finally stopped and visited. It was surprisingly colorful with a multitude of psychedelic hues. After walking down a dirt road in an empty field, you come to the Cadillacs buried nose deep in the ground. They are repeatedly spray painted and covered in graffiti. This is a popular Texas print, selling as a framed art print, metal print and more.
Every time I try to describe what "type" of photographer I am, or what photography "means", I find the words are as fleeting as the perfect moment of light on a scene. I'm a native daughter of Michigan, now living in New Mexico. The two places are like apples and oranges. I love them both.
