The 100 mile Hardrock Endurance Run begins and ends in Silverton Colorado. For the race, this rock is placed on the main street of Silverton. The rest of the year, it sits in a small pocket park next to a back alley. The race begins and starts in Silverton, and crosses 13 major passes over 12000 feet above sea level as it winds through Lake City, Ouray, and Telluride.
