A sad faced Jack O'Lantern sits at the edge of the woods in this autumn scene in the bosque along the Rio Grande of New Mexico. A traditional halloween decoration, carved pumpkins may have their beginnings in Ireland. For those familiar with the Charlie Brown cartoon, perhaps this is Linus' "Great Pumpkin".
