Walking the high trail along the bluff at Ebey's Landing National Historic Reserve gives a grand and gorgeous view of the lagoon, or what is also called Perego's Lake. There is no inlet to this lagoon, the water seeps in from below. It affords wonderful reflections of the sky above, and the bluff itself is covered with tall grasses. This reserve is located near Coupeville on Whidbey Island, Washington in Puget Sound.
