This image was made at about 3 a.m. as a thunderstorm rolled across Lake Michigan from Wisconsin. I had only a small window of opportunity to make this image between the beginning of strikes and a full out downpour. Rumbles of thunder woke me in time to scramble for my camera and tripod. The brilliant flash lit up the water as well as the clouds. Also available in black and white.
