The Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico is a magical place. When I'm there, I feel happy, so I brightened and tinted and textured this image to let others see the Bosque through rose colored eyes. A single tree stands in a flooded field, and the mountains are silhouetted in the distance.
Every time I try to describe what "type" of photographer I am, or what photography "means", I find the words are as fleeting as the perfect moment of light on a scene. I'm a native daughter of Michigan, now living in New Mexico. The two places are like apples and oranges. I love them both.
