Artist's Description

Multiple doors and windows in the old stone Main House in Mills Canyon provide a view to another stone building in the background. These buildings were part of a stage coach stop in the late 1800's and early 1900's on a shortcut of the Santa Fe Trail. These buildings are in northeast New Mexico on the Canadian River. The USFS has stabilized the historic structures to prevent further deterioration.
