For those who learned to ski within the last 20 years, this may be a familiar site. It's a conveyor belt for skiers, affectionately called the Magic Carpet Ride. This is in Taos, New Mexico on a fine winter day. The skier transport is covered by an arched tunnel to keep snow off of the mechanism.
