Late in the day, a milk cow with a white head stands prominently in a green pasture, looking curiously at the camera. Several other cows graze peacefully with a view of the sea and a cloudy sky above. This bucolic scene was made on Whidbey island in the Pacific Northwest, next to the Salish Sea.
