Popular image which has sold as a framed print and as a custom print. This image was exhibited at InSight New Mexico 2013. Chosen by jury for 2016 "Shades of Gray" exhibit in New Mexico. Limited edition prints, signed by the artist, are available by contacting the artist via the email link. This iconic tree and mailbox are alongside the highway leading from Santa Fe to Taos, New Mexico. I have passed it over the years, and was finally able to make an image of the cottonwood in its bare beauty. With the ongoing drought, I often wonder if this tree will survive. The mountains in the distance are across the Rio Grande Gorge.
