A white cat with black spots and ears, a dollop of black on her chin, sits against the backdrop of a Southwestern stucco garden wall. Roses, Columbines and Sweet Williams frame her feline gaze. The cat, Phoebe, was named for a Greek Goddess, and the name means bright or clear, and is associated with prophecy. On a more down to earth level, cats of this coloration are sometimes lovingly called "Cow Cats".
