Plaza Blanca is an awe inspiring landscape in the Rio Chama valley near Abiquiu, New Mexico. The area has been made famous by artists and by Hollywood for movie backdrops. Georgia O'Keefe made a series of paintings depicting this area called "White Place". The final scenes of "Cowboys and Aliens" was filmed here. This area of New Mexico is now on the grounds of the Dar Al Islam education center and mosque.
