Artist's Description

This beautiful and serene scene of the sea was made from the shoreline at Fort Casey on Whidbey Island in the San Juan islands of Washington. I worked on the image to give it a timeless feel, almost as if it were painted hundreds of years ago. The sun has almost set on this scene, and if you look closely, there is a small speck of a boat in the distance.
