Description
On the outskirts of Taos, New Mexico, a cobblestone pathway leads up to an arched, wooden gate set within a curved adobe wall under a clear blue sky. To the right of the pathway, metal chairs rest beside small windows embedded in the wall. This is a typical southwestern courtyard, tranquil and serene. Sunlight seeps through the gate.
