Artist's Description
A shiny hammered metal "Singing bowl", also known as a Tibetan, or healing bowl, is placed on a textured adobe surface, casting a distinct shadowt. The inside of the bowl reflects light, contrasting with its darker exterior and the background. It is nearly a yin and yang relationship between shadow and light. The sound of singing bowls is used in meditation, yoga, and healing.
