Tucked away into a remote corner of New Mexico is Tusas Canyon. The canyon is narrow, the cliffs sheer rock in sections. This well hidden gem has no roads leading to it. I was taken by the way this one lone tree was hanging on in a particularly rough area of the canyon.
Every time I try to describe what "type" of photographer I am, or what photography "means", I find the words are as fleeting as the perfect moment of light on a scene. I'm a native daughter of Michigan, now living in New Mexico. The two places are like apples and oranges. I love them both.
