This is a small and intimate portrait of a tree that has wrapped itself around the gravestone of an unknown soldier in Arlington National Cemetery, Washington DC. It is one of the most poignant scenes, and is featured in my book "Trees Are My Muse -- A Tale of Love and Friendship".
