Description
The Valles Caldera National Preserve, part of the US National Park System, is home to a 13.7 mile wide volcanic caldera in the Jemez Mountains of New Mexico. This view of the caldera was taken at sunset. The last light of the day plays gently across the wide expanse of pasture which is loved by elk. White clouds dot the blue sky.
This image works wonderfully at a large print size to show the majesty of the landscape.
