Artist's Description

Baobab is also referred to as the "Upside Down Tree" because when it loses its leaves the top appears as a rootlike structure. Elephants will eat the bark of these trees and the baobab can survive the debarking. It's an amazing tree with fruit eaten by humans and animals alike. Supposedly anyone who plucks the flowers will be eaten by lions!

Part of the proceeds from the sale of this image will go to support education and clean water development in Tanzania.
