Artist's Description

This sculpture on the side of the Cologne City Hall depicts a man performing oral sex on himself and baring his patootie to the people below. At the time of construction in the 15th century, it was a way that medieval artists proclaimed their disdain for authority and the government. One has to look carefully on the building high above to locate this hidden scene.
