This warning sign, "Beware of Snakes", is a glimpse of the wilds surrounding us. Perched on a hillside in southern New Mexico, hand painted, and shot full of holes, it is a warning to the curious. What type of snakes? In this landscape, probably rattlesnakes. It is a slice of rural America and the wild west.
