Elephant, Loxodonta africana, walking on trail in Tanzania. The Swahili name for this majestic beast in "Tembo". In Tanzania's National Parks you are often amazingly close to the animals when on a guided safari. You can hear the elephants as they graze. They seem incredibly gentle.
