Description
The Santa Cruz lighthouse sits on the north side of Monterey Bay, California. Built in the late 1860s, the light was first lit in 1870. It had only three lighthouse keepers. A popular place on the bay for surfing, today the lighthouse it is home to the Santa Cruz Surfing Museum.
