Artist's Description

The Mackinac Bridge spans the Straits of Mackinac and connects the Upper and Lower Peninsulas of Michigan in the United States. This nearly 5 mile suspension bridge on Interstate 75 is an engineering wonder, now over 50 years old. To the west of the bridge is Lake Michigan, to the east is Lake Huron, two of the five great lakes.
