The Metolius Springs form the headwaters of the Metolius River which is a tributary to the Deschutes River in central Oregon. This scene, with the Black Butte mountain in the background, is an easy hike outside of Sisters, near an unincorporated area called Camp Sherman. This small recreational area is administered by the Deschutes National Forest.
